Interlude: Empty Cupboard

In my refrigerator right now:

Jar of low-sugar marmalade
A near empty jar of pricey Sarabeth jam
Two containers of minced garlic (??)
An old stick of butter
BRITTA water

Relax -- I'm not gonna attempt to make something out of that. I should buy some groceries, but I kind of can't be bothered. My heart's not into cooking. Maybe I'll change my mind later today or later this week. I need to eat this week. Human beings need to eat. That's part of the deal. But then again, what's the point of any of it...?

You could saute that garlic in the butter and toss it with some ramen if you've got it. I wouldn't recommend dumping the jam on top but what the hell, it might be good. Sort of a sweet and sour approach. Good luck!
